A healthcare service provider in the UK is looking for a Functional Assessor to conduct assessments for Personal Independence Payments. You will work autonomously, holding consultations and generating detailed reports. Candidates must be registered pharmacists with at least 12 months of experience. The position offers a competitive salary between £39,500 and £41,500, along with various benefits and professional support for career development.
Join us as a Functional Assessor and enjoy a great work-life balance and a rewarding income, with a supportive team around you and a positive workplace culture. Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK. As a Pharmacist Functional Assessor, you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit as part of the DWP's Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.
You will only work to assess people for Personal Independence Payment (PIP), not both. As part of your application process, we will advise you on which service you will work on and discuss what your training will involve. You do not need to have worked as a Functional Assessor previously. We can support you in your career change with our accredited training programme and dedicated support structure.
