About the role:

• Location – Cardiff
• Pay – £89.38
• Hours – Usually between 8:30‑3:30
• Start Date – ASAP (Pending Vetting Requirements)

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit PGCE/Final Year Students to work across a range of Primary Schools in the Cardiff area. This role offers aspiring teachers the chance to gain experience and build confidence before the start of the academic year.

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will be ambitious and hardworking, adaptable, and willing to work across a range of classes and age groups. They must develop professional relationships with children and staff to support pupils’ progress, provide general classroom support, and assist small groups of children with learning. Some schools may offer final year students the opportunity to work as an unqualified teacher, requiring confidence in leading the class effectively and a good knowledge of the school’s curriculum. The school will provide continuous support and feedback, with the possibility to extend positions into the new Academic Year.

Requirement Criteria:

• Enhanced DBS (child only) checks must be complete before the role commences.
• EWC registration – mandatory in Wales.
• Two references from PGCE placements.
