Description

The Pest Control Officer WCR 2 plays a crucial role in maintaining public health and safety by managing pest populations in both residential and commercial settings. In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and implementing effective control measures. The role requires extensive knowledge of pest behavior, treatment techniques, and safety protocols to ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with local regulations and environmental standards. As a Pest Control Officer, you will not only apply chemical and non-chemical methods to eradicate pests but also provide education to the public on preventive measures and safe practices. The position involves significant interaction with community members, necessitating strong communication skills and a customer‑oriented approach. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to providing high‑quality pest management services that protect the health and well‑being of the community.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for travel to various job sites.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting equipment and working in various environmental conditions.
