Overview

Personal Tax Manager – Carlisle – £35,000 - £42,000

Our client, a leading independent firm in Carlisle, is actively looking to strengthen their tax department with the addition of a Personal Tax Senior/Manager.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the partners of the firm and manage a diverse portfolio of clients including high net worth individuals (HNWIs), company directors and sole traders.
• Ensure that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.
• Gain exposure to advisory and tax planning work and assist on a wide range of capital gains tax issues.
• Play a pivotal role in strengthening and shaping the growing tax team.

Qualifications

• ATT or CTA qualified and a strong personal tax background with sound compliance knowledge.
• Ability to provide relevant tax advice.
