Personal Injury Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Dorchester

This is a role for a Personal Injury solicitor who wants to feel involved in their cases, trusted with responsibility, and supported by experienced leadership.

You would be joining a personal injury team based in Dorchester, working closely with a long-standing Partner who has built a strong reputation in this space. The work is varied, meaningful and firmly client-centred, with real scope to develop both technically and professionally.

The role
  • Running your own caseload of personal injury matters from instruction through to resolution
  • Advising on a broad mix of work including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, slips and trips, cycling claims, medical negligence and military claims
  • Handling cases across the Fast, Intermediate and Multi-Track, with support on higher-value and more complex matters
  • Building trusted relationships with clients at what is often a difficult point in their lives, keeping them informed and supported throughout
  • Working closely with an experienced Partner and team who are actively invested in your development
Why this role stands out
  • Exposure to a broad PI caseload, rather than being pigeon-holed early
  • Direct access to senior expertise, with mentoring from a highly experienced departmental head
  • Clear, structured progression with defined competencies, so advancement is transparent and achievable
  • A firm culture that actively encourages development, responsibility and long-term careers rather than short-term billing
About you
  • A qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in personal injury
  • Comfortable managing your own files and client relationships
  • Motivated to build depth in claimant PI work and progress within a stable, growing team
  • Approachable, organised and confident dealing directly with clients
What's on offer
  • Competitive salary
  • Above-average holiday allowance
  • Pension and life assurance
  • Flexible benefits package
  • Clear, realistic progression within a growing personal injury department

If you are looking for a personal injury role where you can see the impact of your work, grow under respected leadership and build a long-term future in a supportive regional firm, this is well worth exploring.
