Job description

An opportunity has arisen to provide the Chief Pharmacist and Associate Director for Medicines Management and the Deputy Chief Pharmacist with an efficient, effective, administrative, secretarial and organisational support service.

This role is part time, 30 hours per week. It will involve remote working/hybrid working, however there will be a requirement to work from the office on certain days.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be proactive, highly competent and resilient. They will have good knowledge of the NHS and excellent administrative and organisational skills, including minute taking, diary management and advanced IT skills such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ideally SharePoint. Attention to detail, the ability to work on their own initiative, independently and as a team player are essential.

Induction and Training

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.
