A local support service in Grantham is seeking a personal assistant to provide care and assistance for a disabled individual. The role involves supporting personal care, meal preparation, and household chores, with the need for flexibility in working hours. The ideal candidate will be honest, reliable, and must have their own transport. Previous caring experience is not essential, but a genuine interest in supporting individuals with disabilities is important.
Personal assistant to help in busy household with disabled mum of teenage boy with autism. Need personal care post surgery and assistance with food preparation, general house duties and laundry. Own transport as village with no public transport. This is a household with pets. Assistance in mornings for 1 or 2 mornings a week, days may be negotiable. Pay is under review currently.

The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).
Car driver and car owner – must have business insurance.
To be a car driver with use of a car.
