Role Purpose

As the People Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing Learning and Development initiatives for Head Office and Healthcare. Your primary role will involve formulating and implementing a comprehensive plan to support the development of our people by creating and embedding a learning culture, keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do. The purpose of this role is to enhance the growth and potential of individuals and teams by designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful learning and development programmes. This role requires a deep understanding of learning principles, a creative mindset, leadership skills and the ability to foster a culture of continuous professional development across the organisation.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all employees comply with legal, professional, and ethical standards daily. Additionally, you will work to build and strengthen relationships within all areas of responsibility to enhance engagement and participation with all company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain training programmes that address organisational needs and support employee growth.
  • Facilitate workshops, both face to face and online for diverse audiences.
  • Have up to date knowledge and skill in tech and data systems.
  • Work with external training providers to find the best learning solutions.
  • Manage Head Office development budget.
  • Assess training requirements through consultation with managers, surveys, and performance data.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create tailored learning solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices in learning.
  • Champion a culture of lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Manage the Head office People Development Advisors.
  • Work with the Senior People Development Manager to develop and deliver the people development strategy.

Hours

37.5 hours | 9:00am - 5:30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.
