The Role
  • As a front-line leader for HR you will play a key part in the People and Culture team responsible for learning, development, colleague engagement, talent management and the development of people systems with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaging culture.
  • Supporting the HR & Wellbeing Teams in maintaining a fun safe and productive work environment.
  • Support the HR Teams with driving the HR and Culture Strategies for the group.
  • Work with the necessary teams in the management and review of the groups Recruitment and Retention Strategy.
  • Support initiatives & procedures relating to employee safety welfare wellness and health reporting.
  • Support the HR Team in maintaining employee files and the HR filing system.
  • Proactively engage with employee culture on the HR System.
  • Organise and support with events that boost employee well‑being and culture.
  • Champion initiatives on ESG and support teams in arranging relevant events.
  • To champion the company culture ensuring that all brand elements are pulled through into the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee all digital learning platforms ensuring and supporting management and team members to complete their learning.
  • Responsible for the onboarding / Induction process.
  • To assist processing payroll and ensure that all salary payments made are accurate and on time which will include regular checks on timesheet completion including monitoring of all holiday lieu time, sickness and maternity entitlement.
  • Nurture links with local colleges and schools and be involved in placements careers fairs and recruitment conventions.
  • Assist in investigations disciplinary and grievance procedures ensuring full consultation with the Line Manager / Group Director of Administration.
