Location: Cardiff (Hybrid - with travel across Wales as required)
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) / Secondment Opportunity
Salary: NHS Band 6 £39,263 - £47,280 (NHS Pension, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, NHS Discounts)

As a People & Organisational Development Assistant Business Partner, you will:
We\'re looking for a people professional with a solid foundation in HR or organisational development, ideally educated to degree level (or with equivalent experience). You will bring proven knowledge gained through hands-on experience at this level, alongside a track record of continuous professional development. To succeed in this role, you\'ll need significant experience working in people-focused roles, up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice, and confidence in working in partnership with Trade Unions.
You\'ll bring strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and influence managers to improve workforce planning and people management practices. Your experience of managing employee relations will enable you to handle complex situations with professionalism and integrity. If you also hold CIPD membership, management experience, or knowledge of the NHS or wider health sector, that would be a welcome advantage.
