A local health initiative in Glasgow is seeking a Peer Mentor to support vulnerable women. The role involves providing outreach support, assisting with daily living tasks, and engaging in group activities. Ideal candidates will have experience in mentoring and must join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. The position offers flexible hours and is a temporary contract ending on March 31, 2027.
Role - Peer Mentor - Martha's Mammies (Justice Services)
Location - GCHSCP, Adelphi Centre, 12 Commercial Rd, Glasgow, G5 0PQ
Hours and Shift Pattern - 17.5hrs per week to be worked across Tue - Thur within the hours of 08:45 - 16:45, with there being some flexibility re start / finish times
Contract Status - Temporary, up to 31st March 2027

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) are looking to recruit a Social Care Worker within Martha's Mammies which is a multi-disciplinary project that aims to offer holistic, person-centred, strengths-based support utilizing a trauma informed, assertive outreach approach to engage with birth mothers who have lost care of their children. The service operates a one stop shop where the main aims are:
The team consists of social care staff, mental health nurse, FGDM link worker and lived experience volunteers. The team works closely with, and share resources with, Tomorrow's Women Glasgow (TWG).
Interviews are expected to take place week beginning 20th October 2025.
