GSL Education are seeking a committed PE Teacher to join schools in Penistone. As a PE Teacher, this position offers the chance to deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons, inspire students to build their fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship skills, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities as a PE Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons across a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Support pupils’ physical development, well-being, and personal growth.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a love of physical activity.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and ensure a safe environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, school staff, and parents to support students’ learning and development.

Requirements for PE Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Experience delivering PE lessons and promoting physical activity in schools.
• Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to inspire students.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
