- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports for internal and external use.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.
- Support the implementation of new payroll systems or software as required.
- Ensure all payroll documentation is filed and stored in line with company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in payroll processing
