What you’ll be doing:

Managing the full payroll process for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy at every stage

Handling RTI submissions, pension uploads and producing reports for payments and third parties

Maintaining accurate employee records and supporting document control

Preparing and submitting CIS returns

Supporting and training junior members of the payroll team

Staying up to date with the latest HMRC legislation and payroll best practices

Preparing month-end journals and audit reports

Requirements
What we’re looking for:

Proven experience running multiple client payrolls, ideally within a practice or professional services setting

Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, pension auto-enrolment, and data protection

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

High attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and confidence working to tight deadlines

Strong IT skills – experience using BrightPay would be a bonus, but full training is available

Requirements
The right candidate will be working as a payroll administrator within practice. You will be a technically proficient Payroll Administrator, ideally with Accountancy Practice experience or payroll bureau experience.
