The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem and hands-on experience fixing card acceptance issues. Payments Optimisation - Acceptance Manager
Hybrid – Remote / London (12-month contract)

We’re looking for a payments expert to take ownership of technical acceptance remediation across international markets — making sure transactions fly through at POS and online.

If you’re passionate about driving 100% card acceptance, love problem-solving with data, and can influence stakeholders at the highest level, this one’s for you.

What you’ll do

• Lead technical remediation to fix payments breakages (not declines!)
• Be the go-to contact for merchants, clients & internal teams
• Use data, trend & root cause analysis to spot and solve acceptance gaps
• Present updates & insights to senior stakeholders with confidence
• Champion acceptance health across assigned countries

What you’ll bring

Deep knowledge of the payments ecosystem (scheme or acquiring background ideal)

Hands-on experience fixing card acceptance issues

Advanced Excel & analysis skills, plus slick PowerPoint presentations

Strong communicator & relationship builder — comfortable with directors & clients

Languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Greek) a big plus!

12-month contract
Hybrid – remote + a few days per month in London
