A health organization in North Wales is seeking a diligent individual to join their Patient Access & Booking Centre. This role involves providing an efficient administrative function in a busy call centre, managing patient bookings and inquiries. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to handle pressure. Proficiency in Welsh is essential. Working in a highly pressurised booking centre, within a busy call centre environment, to provide an accurate and prompt administrative function to facilitate the delivery of a professional, efficient and effective centralised booking service, for a variety of outpatient clinics.
Using own initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure that patients are booked in line with Local and National Access Targets.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting other team members to deliver the Access targets and patient focused booking service. To be part of a cohesive and integrated admin function to the service.
An exciting opportunity is available to join the Patient Access & Booking Centre at Glan Clwyd and Abergele Hospital on a permanent basis. We are looking for a hard working individual to join our busy team. The role is based in a busy call centre environment and the successful applicant will be part of a team of experienced staff with responsibility for managing a waiting list and booking patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure is essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
