Qualifications

  • Significant post-registration experience in a clinical laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Pathology Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Guide Quality Leads on applying relevant quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulatory organizations.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of ISO 15189:2022 and UKAS accreditation processes
Knowledge of NHS clinical governance, risk management
Ability to analyze and present complex information
Collaboration skills with internal and external partners

Education

Masters level or equivalent in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline
Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) Registered
