Qualifications

• Significant experience in a leadership role focused on behaviour or pastoral care in a secondary school.
• Exceptional skills in managing student behaviour and attendance.
• Deep understanding of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in student behaviour and attendance across the academy.
• Lead implementation of the school's behaviour policy consistently.
• Manage complex cases with one-to-one and group support.
• Act as senior lead for crisis management and restorative approaches.
• Coach staff on effective behaviour strategies.
• Build relationships with parents and external agencies for student welfare.
