Part-Time Year 3 Teacher - Long-Term Cover
Location: Stockport
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Part-time, Temporary (to cover long-term staff absence)

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced KS2 teacher looking for a new challenge in a warm and welcoming school community? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part-Time Year 3 Teacher to join our larger-than-average primary school in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an average-sized Year 3 class comprising a range of abilities, including a small number of pupils on the SEND register. You will also be supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant who can be deployed flexibly to help maximise outcomes for all pupils.

Responsibilities / Qualifications
  • Has strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and can hit the ground running, direct experience in Year 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Uses effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
  • Is a strong team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • A teacher who uses a range of learning styles to support visual, audio and kinaesthetic learners
  • Builds trusting relationships with pupils, classroom staff, and the wider school community
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and ensuring every child reaches their full potential
