A local government organization in Chelmsford is seeking a part-time Residential Worker to provide high-quality care and support to adults in a residential home. Duties include monitoring wellbeing, helping individuals access social activities, and ensuring a person-centered approach. Candidates should have relevant experience in social care and communication skills. This position offers flexible shifts and training opportunities.

£25,395 to £32,131 per annum, full time equivalent

Please note that this position is being offered as a part time role, offering 15 hours per week.
The pro rata salary is £10,295.28 to £13,026.09 per annum.
Please note that this position covers two different shift patterns: AM shift: 07:00 to 14:30 and PM Shift: 14:00 - 21:30 and is a Monday to Friday role with every weekend off.
The role offers a 10% flat rate allowance in addition to the basic salary offered.

This will be an ongoing requirement, and semi-regular shifts can be picked up to suit the needs of the home and post holders. You must be an experienced carer and work in a person-centred manner, that is flexible and reliable.
You must have previous experience in this field and be able to hit the ground running. Full training is provided, and induction is paid.
This role will be focused on being a committed, flexible, and passionate member of a team working within a residential/short break service to ensure the provision of a high-quality service for adults. The role will work collaboratively with adults, their families, and other professionals in a residential home environment.
The role will support adults in accordance with their care plans and ensuring access to social and leisure activities according to their needs and wishes. The role also includes the continuous monitoring of individuals emotional and general wellbeing.
