Job summary

A caring residential home in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Driver to join their exceptional team. You will drive the Home’s vehicles for residents’ outings and ensure vehicle maintenance is up to date. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license and good communication skills, with the willingness to work weekends or evenings. Job description

We are looking for an experienced and friendly Driver to drive the Home’s vehicle(s) for residents’ outings and for collecting and delivering people or goods. As part of your role you’ll also be responsible for ensuring that all vehicle maintenance checks are kept up to date.

You’ll be joining an exceptional team of people dedicated to their job, who go the extra mile to create a happy & fulfilled environment for others. This role involves working with veterans, who have served in various conflicts over the years, in a Home where every day can be different and gives you the chance to display your positive energy and dedication.

You will need good verbal communication skills and be able to carry out manual handling tasks such as porterage. Flexibility and a willingness to work weekends / evenings to facilitate trips (subject to prior planning and agreement) is also required.

You will have a clean driving licence and be willing to obtain the MIDAS qualification (if not already held).
