Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in catering or kitchen.
• Experience of menu planning, costing, and stock management.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene regulations.
• Proactive approach with ability to work independently.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting meals and snacks according to dietary requirements.
• Catering for specific needs, including diabetic and allergy-friendly diets.
• Planning menus and managing stock within budgets.
• Ensuring food hygiene and health standards are maintained.
• Overseeing daily kitchen operation and cleanliness.
• Supporting individuals to achieve training goals through kitchen experience.
• Handling cash and card transactions accurately.

Skills

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Experience in a catering or kitchen environment
