An educational institution in England seeks an Academy Administrator to support the Senior Leadership Team. This role involves managing attendance, providing organisational support, and acting as the first point of contact for the Academy. The position is term-time only, requiring 14 hours per week with a starting salary of £8,414 per annum, plus benefits such as automatic pay increments and a generous pension plan.
As Academy Administrator you will support the Senior Leadership Team with managing and monitoring attendance to achieve agreed annual targets and adhere to statutory and legal requirements. You will also provide administrative and organisational support within the Academy and, being based in the Front Office, be a welcome first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors to the Academy.
Term time only (39 weeks). Hours: 14 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.00pm on Thursday & Friday or Monday & Tuesday.
Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £8,414 per annum. Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. This is a two-day-a-week job share with an experienced member of staff who is reducing hours. There is scope within the next year for this role to increase in hours. There is another administrator working full time, so there will be plenty of on-the-job training and support.
