Qualifications

  • RIBA Part III qualification with ARB registration.
  • Strong conceptual design, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp is an advantage.
  • Experience delivering projects across multiple stages.
  • Passion for sustainable design and innovation.

Job description
Overview

A growing, design-led architecture practice is seeking a talented Part 3 Architect to join its collaborative team. The studio has a reputation for bold ideas, creative thinking, and a strong focus on sustainability, with projects spanning residential, mixed-use, education, and conservation.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take responsibility for projects through all RIBA stages, from concept to completion. This will include preparing feasibility studies and design proposals, producing detailed technical drawings and planning submissions, and overseeing delivery on site. A key part of the role will be maintaining a sustainability-first approach, incorporating carbon modelling, material selection, and life-cycle assessments into everyday practice. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues, contribute to design reviews, and work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors. The practice has a friendly, open culture and encourages creative input at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have
