Overview

Parcelforce Worldwide is looking for an excellent Collection and Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team, support our growing business and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Contract and Location

• Contract Type: Permanent
• Working hours: Saturday only, 10 hours per week with opportunity for overtime
• Typical hours: Saturday 07:00 – 17:30
• Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Shrewsbury Unit 50 Atcham Industrial Estate, Upton Magna, Shrewsbury SY4 4UP

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary of £24,210 (£12.21 per hour) increasing to £25,679 (£12.95 per hour) after completion of a 6 month probation period
• Additional annual supplement of £842 (pro rata), nightshift allowance and benefits (based on a 38 hour full-time week)
• Potential total package circa £30,000 per annum including benefits (38 hour week with overtime)

• £26.40 per week driving allowance plus weekly bonus up to £16
• Saturday & Sunday premium; Saturday £4.09 per hour extra after 06:00; Sunday £6.13 per hour extra (contracted hours)

About the role

You’ll start your day by planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle. You’ll collect and deliver parcels to households and businesses, going the extra mile for customers by delivering items from birthday presents to vital business information.
