Job description
Paraplanner – Manchester – up to £50,000

We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a growing team, supporting advisers and clients across both private and corporate financial planning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge and organisational skills who wants to work in a supportive environment with flexible working arrangements.

What you’ll do
  • Provide analysis, monitoring, and reporting on pensions and investment portfolios
  • Support advisers with product research, solution design, and suitability reports (no advice-giving required)
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
  • Assist with portfolio reviews, client meeting preparation, and paperwork collation
  • Contribute to project work and provide technical guidance to the Client Relations Team
  • Stay commercially aware through ongoing technical learning and development
What we’re looking for
  • Broad financial services/paraplanning experience, ideally with personal financial planning knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and industry software (Intelligent Office/Xplan advantageous)
  • Level 4 Diploma desirable, but part-qualified candidates will be considered
