Overview

Paralegal - Wills Trust and Probate • Chester

£24k - £25k

My well-established client based in Central Chester is looking to recruit a Paralegal to join its Wills, Trust and probate team. This is an exciting role for someone with previous experience as a paralegal, or with legal administration experience. The Paralegal will provide high-quality support to the team's fee earners by assisting in the progression of client matters under supervision. Responsibilities will include direct client interaction, draft legal documents, and delivering general administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective running of the department.

Key duties
  • Attend client meetings including home visits and prepare accurate attendance notes
  • Maintain regular client communication and provide updates as directed by fee earners
  • Draft legal documents
  • Assist fee earners in progressing files efficiently and accurately
  • Open new files promptly and correctly following instructions
  • Manage appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date diary system
  • Ensure accurate filing storage and organisation of documents
  • Provide telephone support by answering client queries, directing calls and arranging meetings
Skills and Experience
  • Previous paralegal or Legal administration experience desirable
