What you’ll be doing

We’re looking for a proactive Paralegal to join our busy in-house legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of high-impact legal work while helping us achieve our mission of making a positive difference to our customers. As part of our collaborative team, you’ll:

  • Support our qualified lawyers with legal research, document drafting and reviewing correspondence across diverse practice areas.
  • Take ownership of legal queries, resolving matters independently where appropriate, and under the guidance of the team’s qualified lawyers.
  • Provide essential administrative support, managing the legal inbox and diary, raising purchase orders, assisting with litigation, and coordinating supplier invoices.
  • Help drive improved knowledge-sharing through drafting FAQs, bulletins and legal updates.
  • Keep the team future focused through horizon scanning and producing case digests.
  • Drive efficiency by digitising records and helping to streamline legal team processes.
  • Manage the Company’s contract signing process and ensure accurate, well-organised records.
What we’re looking for
  • A 2:1 law degree (or equivalent) and completion of the LPC (or equivalent).
  • Ideally, some experience in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives under pressure and takes initiative.
  • Confidence with IT systems, especially MS Office.
  • We’ll need you to be on site in Hatfield 2 – 3 days a week.
