Paint Technician
Our client, a premium provider of aircraft interiors, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint technician to join their team at Biggin Hill Airport. With the option to complete your hours over a 4-day working week, this is a key role in the refurbishment and repair of high-end business jet interiors, requiring precision craftsmanship and a strong eye for quality. The ideal candidate will have a background in painting, finishing, or interior refurbishment, ideally within the aviation sector.

Responsibilities
  • Component Finishing: Sand, paint, polish, and finish interior aircraft components to an exceptional standard.
  • Repair Work: Carry out in-situ repairs and refurbishments on business jet interiors.
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
  • Compliance: Follow work instructions and aviation standards for all finishing tasks.
  • Quality Focus: Perform visual inspections during and after finishing processes to ensure flawless results.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repair logs and finishing reports.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional experience in aviation, painting, cabinet making, or automotive/bodywork finishing.
