Job summary

A reputable aerospace manufacturing company in Nottingham is seeking a Paint Prepper to prepare components for spraying. Candidates should have experience working in a paint shop and be familiar with engineering drawings. Ideal applicants will possess aerospace experience and work to AS9100/EASA standards, while demonstrating strong teamwork and multitasking abilities. This role offers daytime hours from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace industry is desirable.
• Ability to prep, prime, and mask components for spraying.
• Good team working skills are essential.

• Prepare components for painting by executing prepping, priming, and masking tasks.

You will be joining a reputable Aerospace manufacturing company who supply components into the leading aerospace companies such as AIRBUS and BOEING.

For this Paint Prepper position you must have the following:

• Aerospace Experience (desirable)
• Experience working in a paint shop – prepping, priming and masking components ready for spraying
• Be conversant with engineering drawings

Required qualifications for the Paint Prepper role are:

• Industry experience - (ideal)
• Working to AS9100 / EASA Part 21 (G) standards (ideal)
• Must have good team working skills coupled with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Flexible and forward thinker with a 'can do' attitude.

Hours for the Paint Prepper role:

Days - Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
