A creative organization in Greater London seeks individuals aged 19-30 to join a Steering Board for high-profile arts events. Participants will gain real experience, leadership skills, and access to industry connections. Selected members will also be eligible for Emerging Producer roles. Compensation aligns with UK wage standards, ensuring a fair pay structure for all participants.
We're creating two Steering Boards:
Both groups will help develop and co-create the event programme across the borough, gaining valuable experience, skills, and industry connections.
We understand that some young people currently have fewer routes into a creative career. Everyone living or going to school in Royal Borough of Greenwich is welcome to apply but we will especially welcome applications from people who meet one or more of the following criteria:
Steering Board members under 18 will be paid at the UK Minimum Wage rate (currently £7.55 per hour). Steering Board members over 18 will be paid at the London Living Wage rate (currently £14.80 per hour). The total number of paid hours for the 13-18 group will be 20 hours and 32 hours for the 19-30 group.
In addition:
19-30 Steering Board members will also be offered a minimum of 5 days' work experience each with some amazing cultural organisations, across weeks commencing 26 January, 2 February, and 9 February. We’ll be flexible to fit around your work/study commitments.
In February 2026, 19-30 Steering Board members will also be invited to apply for 4 x paid roles as Emerging Producers helping to deliver the programme’s festivals and events.
If you’re shortlisted, group interviews will take place during the weeks commencing 1 December for the steering board sessions to start week commencing 8 December.
