A national health service provider in Plymouth is seeking an RSCN nurse to deliver high-quality care to both children and adults. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will work across various areas of the emergency department. This role offers shift work with flexibility. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and a strong commitment to patient care.
We are offering an excellent opportunity for a RSCN nurse to develop their skills in an ever-changing environment. We need you to be dynamic, motivated team players and possess excellent verbal and written, communication / people skills. The successful candidates will be expected to deliver high quality care to children and adults, with support within the framework of the multi-disciplinary team.
You will be supported by an experienced inter-professional team which includes nurses, doctors and allied health professionals. We work closely with the paediatric areas of the Trust (including CAU, Paediatric Day case theatres and HDU etc.) and Bristol Children's Hospital.
As a band 5 RSCN nurse in the department you will predominately work in the paediatric and resuscitation areas of the ED but will be expected to work in all areas of the department as required with support as necessary. This is an internal rotation post; shifts include long days (07:30-20:00) Twilights (14:00-02:00) and nights (19:45-08:15), and shifts may change as the service develops. This is an exciting time for the department and a time for us to invest in change in order to deliver a top class service.

To provide prompt and efficient treatment of the acutely ill or traumatised patient (both adult & child) and support their relatives.

Contribute to the management of risk, both clinical and financial
Ensure effective use of resources and the cost implications on practice.
Contribute toward the continuing development of professional nursing practice in the Emergency Department.
