The ideal candidate will have a BS in Packaging or Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in injection molding and working with post-consumer recycled materials. Key Responsibilities
  • Happily, lead Packaging development and testing of NPD and Supply chain / Operations led packaging projects.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to deliver innovative and sustainable packaging solutions for products through the product-packaging lifecycle.
  • Conduct in-depth technical feasibility assessments on packaging design, including environmental impact, supply chain, manufacturing, cost drivers, potential IP issues and consumer impact
  • Be the voice on advocating good karma packaging and guide team members through the complexities of what goes into sourcing and making packaging recyclable and manufactured with recycled content.
  • Develop and execute package qualification plans, line trials, mold sampling, and equipment capability studies to ensure a successful commercialization.
  • Create packaging related specifications, finished product manuals and manage data accuracy in Project Lifecycle Management software SAP.
  • Support the wider packaging community and R&D colleagues on sharing new technologies, product ideas, best practices, packaging knowledge and humble bragging on learnings from attending conferences, factory visits, webinars etc.
  • Travel and work independently at manufacturing and vendor sites.

Experience you’ll bring

  • Essential : A positive and clear communicator— articulate ideas, voice constructive opinions.
  • Essential : Proficient in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Essential : Experience in working with Amazon E-com testing and certification process.
  • Desirable : An understanding of both mechanical and chemical recycling process
  • Desirable : Experience of working with AutoCAD or Solidworks, SAP, Palletisation software.
  • Desirable : Ability to deep dive into conversations around Star Wars, Stranger things and Fortnite!!
