Overview

Moorfields Eye Hospital invites applications for the post of Outpatient Clinic Coordinator at Moorfields Eye St Ann's. This position will also require travel to Moorfields Eye Hospital, City Road and other Moorfields North sites when required.

This post requires hours that cover the administrative duties from 08:00-16:00, 09:00-17:00, 10:00-18:00.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality clerical and administrative support as a member of one of our administrative teams.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all patients, in a busy outpatient environment and in the administrative offices.
  • Perform reception duties: meeting and greeting patients on arrival to the hospital, checking patients in to the appropriate clinics using the Trust's patient administration system, booking clinic appointments, and accurately recording patient data.
  • Extra administrative duties include ensuring clinics are booked to profile, answering queries by telephone and in person, filing, and supporting the Team Leaders & Clinic Manager with clinic cancellations and other administrative duties.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal skills with a polite and courteous manner and professional attitude.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and cope under pressure in a busy working environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Good computer skills.
