Orthopaedics Senior Theatre Practitioner (RGN/ODP)
York Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full Time

Up to £42,500 per annum, dependent on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our York Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC registration. You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You’re a focused, flexible and motivated team worker.

As a Orthopaedic Senior Theatre Practitioner ,you will:

  • Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring

  • Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be

  • Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient’s needs

  • Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care

  • Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students

  • Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training
