Overview

Organisational Effectiveness, Agility & AI - Senior Consultant

About Baringa: We set out to build the world's most trusted consulting firm - creating lasting impact for clients and pioneering a positive, people-first way of working. We work with everyone from FTSE 100 names to bright new start-ups, in every sector. We collaborate with clients from the big picture to the detail, helping them define strategy, deliver complex change, spot opportunities, manage risk, or bring purpose and sustainability goals to life. We operate globally with hubs in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia.

Our Organisational Effectiveness, Agility & AI practice is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to join the team. We are experts who put people first to transform organisations through future-ready operating models, agile ways of working, and AI-enabled enterprise transformation. Our work spans Financial Services, Energy & Resources, Government, Products & Services, and Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences.

What you will be doing

Our roles help clients redesign and deliver the organisations of the future by combining agility, human-centred design, and the strategic application of AI. We integrate three connected capabilities, anchored in enabling enterprise-wide AI adoption and impact:

  • AI Enterprise Strategy: Rethinking value creation and delivery in an AI-enabled world, including shifts in roles, skills, governance, and decision-making
  • AI-Enabled Operating Model Transformation: Designing future-fit organisations that can embed and scale AI with the right structures, accountabilities, and cultural foundations
  • AI-Informed Organisational Agility: Evolving ways of working, funding models, and governance to support rapid experimentation, responsible AI use, and cross-functional delivery at scale

Some examples of the work you'll do:

  • Helping clients understand the long-term impact of AI on their workforce and functions, e.g. scenario modelling to identify automation opportunities and future capability needs
  • Designing AI-enabled operating models, including integration of agents, automation, and augmentation into existing delivery and governance structures
  • Shaping enterprise AI strategies alongside the C-suite, clarifying ambition, defining pragmatic focus areas, and aligning AI adoption to business value and transformation goals
  • Advising clients on how to sustainably reduce cost or headcount through responsible AI adoption while unlocking creativity and strategic focus
  • Leading operating model and organisational design work in the context of AI-driven change, including designing new roles, capabilities, and team structures
  • Enabling large organisations to adopt agile ways of working and new delivery models (e.g. value streams, tribes), often powered by digital and AI platforms
  • Coaching senior leaders and teams in agile, hybrid and AI-enabled models, adapted to their unique context and maturity
  • Embedding lasting capability by designing change approaches that stick, with a focus on leadership alignment, behavioural change, and practical tooling
Your skills and experience

We're looking for exceptional consultants with a strong foundation in enterprise transformation—particularly where AI is reshaping how organisations are structured, governed and delivered. You’ll likely bring:

  • Proven consulting experience in enterprise or digital transformation, including operating model design and delivery
  • A clear perspective on how AI is transforming work—from operating models and decision-making to workforce structure and leadership roles
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders in large, complex organisations navigating disruption and emerging technology adoption
  • Understanding of AI strategy and enterprise use cases, with the ability to translate opportunities into actionable change plans
  • Familiarity with delivery tools and methods (e.g. Jira, Planview, OKRs, Agile at Scale) to support execution at pace
  • Confidence coaching leaders through ambiguity—especially where AI, automation or data is prompting a rethink of traditional ways of working
  • A hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving—ask the right questions, simplify the complex, and stay focused on impact
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing role with shifting priorities and multiple workstreams
