Job summary

A leading consultancy firm is looking for an Oracle Project Manager to join their IT PMO team. Located in Hertfordshire, this role involves managing the delivery of Oracle Fusion projects, ensuring they meet time and budget constraints. The ideal candidate should have experience in Oracle Fusion implementations and project management methodologies like PRINCE2 and PMI. This is an inside IR35 position requiring site availability in Stevenage a few times weekly. Start date is on the 24th of November.

Qualifications

• At least two Oracle Fusion projects completed.
• Ability to deliver projects within agreed time and budget.
• Capable of managing project risks and documentation.

Job description

We are looking to recruit an Oracle Project Manager to work within the Group IT PMO department. Based in Hertfordshire - INSIDE IR35.

At least two Oracle Fusion projects under your belt.

As an Oracle Project Manager, you will manage the delivery of Oracle Fusion projects within agreed time and budget constraints.

Duties & responsibilities

• Deliver multiple Oracle Fusion related projects.
• Work closely with the Oracle Programme Managers and Oracle Portfolio Manager.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Ensure the necessary project documentation has been completed, such as PIDs and business change requests.
• Prepare project plan and develop project budgets and timelines.
• Build and maintain project RAID logs.
• Highlight project risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans; feed these risks into the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans if necessary.
• Manage expectations for the delivery of the project and elevate issues on deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Implementations.
• IT Controls and knowledge of common Oracle Implementation methodologies.
• Sound working knowledge of well‑known Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and PMI.

Requirements

• Start on the 24th of November (essential).
• Site availability: able to travel to Stevenage a few times a week.
• Position is inside IR35.
