About Our Client: Our client is an expanding fitness chain in the UK dedicated to providing exceptional gym experiences and fostering a vibrant community. With ambitious growth plans and a commitment to operational excellence they are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead their dynamic team.

Role Overview: As the Operations Director the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the gyms. This individual will lead a team of regional managers and general managers driving operational standards and compliance while managing budgets and enhancing profitability. This is an all-rounder role that requires a deep understanding of people products and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations across all sites ensuring exceptional service cleanliness and member experience.
  • Lead and support site managers ensuring adequate staffing training and performance standards.
  • Drive operational standards and compliance with health & safety regulations maintenance schedules and industry standards.
  • Manage budgets and operational efficiency controlling costs and improving profitability.
  • Implement growth and expansion plans overseeing new club openings and refurbishments.
Candidate Requirements
  • Strong operational background with experience in multi-site management.
  • Proactive leadership style ideally with a military background.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
Working Hours: Predominantly Monday to Friday
