A leading recycling and energy recovery firm in Bargeddie, Glasgow is seeking an Operations Team Leader to oversee the operations team and manage safety protocols. The ideal candidate should have experience in recycling or manufacturing environments, strong communication skills, and safety qualifications. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of circa £38,000 per annum along with bonuses, pension contributions, and opportunities for advancement. Qualifications

• Previous experience within recycling, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Managing the Safe System of Work and supervising the operations team.
• Ensuring all planned maintenance is completed and recorded via the CMMS.
• Issuing Permits to Work and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Strong communication skills

Experience monitoring a site with SCADA systems

Strong understanding of health and safety practices

Experience in recycling or manufacturing environments

Education

Safety Qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH)
