A major train operator in the UK is looking for an Operations and Safety Specialist to design and deliver safety training for train crew. The ideal candidate will possess a NEBOSH certificate and have knowledge of operational safety regulations. Responsibilities include creating training materials, supporting safety performance reporting, and compliance with the Safety Management System. This position offers a supportive environment for self-development and career progression in locations including Wakefield, York, or Sunderland.

We have an exciting opening for an Operations and Safety Specialist. We are looking for someone who can impart their knowledge and enthusiasm to an audience of front-line train crew. You will design and deliver operational safety training courses and briefings, provide ongoing support in the development of our traincrew through our competence assessment process and contribute your expertise to our Safety Management System.
You will be a confident communicator, self-motivated and committed to ensuring our customers’ Safety is of paramount importance. You will already be a leader or one in the making. Ideally you will have a wealth of experience to bring to this role, but attitude is the most important.

This position can be based out of any of our key locations including Wakefield, York or Sunderland.
