A modern business bank is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst to support risk management across departments. This role involves identifying and assessing risks, implementing effective controls, and conducting root cause analyses. Candidates should possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience and have strong operational risk management and technology skills. The Operational Risk team plays a central role in ensuring that the Bank is aware of and pro-actively managing all the risks that could damage our customers, our regulatory standing, our resilience and our financial performance. As an Operational Risk Analyst, you'll play a critical role in helping every department in the business to identify, assess and manage their risks and issues. As part of a relatively new team, you'll also have opportunities to design and shape the approach and processes used to effectively complete these tasks. To complement the skills and experience already within the team, we're looking for someone with the experience or skills and knowledge needed to support and challenge our IT team's thinking on technology and cyber related risks and controls. As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to also support our Prudential Risk, Credit Risk colleagues and to support Executive Risk Committees as Secretariat as a key contributor. We’re a small, friendly, pragmatic and outcome-focused risk team who have the ability to make a real difference to the day-to-day operations and performance of the Bank.
