Job description

Job Title: Operational Resilience Lead

Location: Warton/Samlesbury. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £56,766 + depending on experience

What you'll be doing:
  • Liaison with BCM Local Coordinators/Reps and represent the business at operational resilience reviews and during operational incidents including post incident reviews
  • Coordinate & facilitate planned exercises and complete exercise & test outcome reports
  • Undertake process confirmations and manage follow up improvement activity
  • Coordinate and compile all relevant documentation on behalf of the business or function
  • Coord of business or functional reviews
  • Identify any training requirements for your business or function and coordinate and deliver BCM training
  • Actively engage with the local BCM coordinators/reps on policy, process and direction
  • Collation and reporting for BCM Operational Assurance Statement
Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Risk Management / BCM qualification (e.g Strategic Risk & CM Diploma / CBCI / CRM / DRI)
  • Experience in the development and application of operational processes / functional governance with a proven track record of BCM, Risk & Incident Management processes
  • Experience in PM, training and / or assurance role and capable of working with face to face and virtual teams, maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Emergency response background
  • Awareness of the potential challenges involved when working within a multi-national/multi-cultural organisation
  • Real world experience of managing operational disruption

The Security & Resilience team

We are recruiting a Operational Resilience Lead to work within the Security and Resilience Function. As the Operational Resilience Lead, you will report into the Business Continuity Manager - Air Sector, and have responsibilities across the Air sector for delivering all aspects of Operational Resilience. The key focus is to ensure that BAE Air maintains a robust Resilience programme to enable it to withstand and mitigate the impact of unexpected events, which have the potential to disrupt major Programmes.

You will have unique exposure to all areas of the Air business enabling you to gain vital experience and potential career progression.

Must be able to travel up to 10 weeks per year.
