As a OneCall Officer you will deliver 24‑hour emergency response services to ensure the safety and well‑being of our clients. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients, providing meaningful, hands‑on care that makes a real difference to the lives of our most vulnerable residents, allowing them to maintain independent living in their own homes.
Any potential team member will have the drive and determination to do the very best for the residents that we serve in Stockton‑on‑Tees.
No two days are the same within OneCall – you could be office‑based dealing with clients via our callhandling platform one day, responding to clients in their own homes after a fall the next, or visiting clients’ homes to update their profiles, all rewarding in their own way. This diverse role will suit those who are compassionate and supportive whilst also being resourceful and efficient. OneCall provides a car for use during your shift plus lifting equipment, PPE & full uniform.
This role is perfect for individuals looking for stability as we offer full‑time guaranteed hours, with the opportunity for overtime if you desire. The role comprises day and night‑time shift work, working 12‑hour shifts and covering a 24‑hour period of service delivery with a 4‑week rotating shift pattern.
For those who are not seeking set contract hours, we are also able to offer roles on a casual basis so you can provide availability around your other commitments.
Whilst experience in social care is desirable, we are looking for individuals who are personable, flexible, have excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to support our clients. As you will be conducting visits across the borough you will also hold a valid driving licence.
