A government agency in the UK is seeking an Offshore Wind Investment Information Manager to play a key role in achieving Scotland's energy transition. You will provide crucial intelligence and coordination to drive substantial private investment in infrastructure and support the UK’s Net Zero ambition. Responsibilities include logistical support, progress monitoring of investment projects, and contributing to financial planning, making this a critical role for the successful delivery of the Offshore Wind Investment Programme.
Would you like to be at the heart of delivering Scotland’s energy transition, working in collaboration with ministers, across the public, private and third sectors, and with the people of Scotland themselves, to deliver enduring benefits for Scotland?
The Offshore Wind Directorate works across government and the Scottish public sector to deliver offshore renewables in Scotland at a scale and pace which is sustainable and transformational for Scotland’s Net Zero ambition, citizens, communities, environment and economy.
This is an opportunity for a policy official with strong analytical and collaboration skills to influence one of the Scottish Government’s most high‑profile commitments – our strategic investment of up to £500 million over five years, which is expected to leverage additional private investment of £1.5 billion in the infrastructure and manufacturing facilities critical to growing the sector. As Offshore Wind Investment Information Manager, you will provide the intelligence, evidence and cross‑sector coordination required to support effective policy design and implementation. Your work will inform decision‑making, support risk management, and enable a coherent approach to delivering infrastructure and supply chain investment – helping to secure substantial private investment and drive Scotland’s progress towards net zero.
