Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking Offshore Crane Technicians for permanent roles, working primarily in the offshore and oil & gas industries. Candidates will receive full training and work globally in varied environments. Qualifications

  • Ability to carry out commissioning, maintenance, inspection and servicing of cranes.
  • Experience in fault finding and repairs on various equipment.
  • Capable of producing clear factual documented reports.

Responsibilities

  • Commission and maintain cranes and lifting equipment offshore.
  • Conduct inspections and servicing on client mechanical equipment.
  • Produce factual reports and comply with site safety requirements.

Skills

Working within the crane industry
Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical systems
Work at heights
Leadership / supervisory experience
In-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance on cranes
IT literate and able to write reports
Read schematics and engineering drawings
Experience working with marine engineering applications

Education

Apprentice served in electrical, hydraulic or mechanical engineering
