A progressive education authority in the UK is seeking an Office Manager to oversee daily administration processes, ensuring education standards are met at Wetherby High School. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a passion for fostering a positive school environment. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, preferably as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme, or eligible for sponsorship through a Skilled Worker visa. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 9th February 2025.
We are now looking to appoint an Office Manager who has the skills and experience to be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and delivery of high performing, flexible and effective administration processes that meets the needs of the school.
We firmly believe that in order to move forwards we need to be prepared and able to 'do things differently and do different things'.
We significantly invest in the development and training of all colleagues who are equally happy to share their expertise, skills and knowledge across the organisation. If you are looking to be stretched and challenged within a positive and creative staff team and you have a genuine desire to make a positive difference to our children, please submit an application form and covering letter to hr@wetherbyhigh.co.uk by noon on Tuesday 9th February 2025.
This role is based in the UK. Home Office guidance states that candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.
Wetherby High School is a forward‑thinking school in a semi‑rural area of North Leeds. We are proud of our caring and inclusive reputation and have a strong team of professionals committed to developing and delivering a rich learning experience for all our students.
Our school community is based upon an inclusive and restorative ethos that we believe best allows every student the opportunity to realise their full potential.
If you do not have the right to work in the UK, you must consider your own eligibility for sponsorship for a particular role through the Skilled Worker visa route before applying. To be eligible for sponsorship you'll usually need to be paid the standard salary rate of at least £41,700 per year or meet one of the other eligibility criteria. Please ensure you are eligible before applying.
