Job summary

A leading air freight ground handling operation at Heathrow Airport seeks an experienced Office Coordinator (Cargo Agent) to manage logistical tasks efficiently. Ideal candidates will have 6-12 months of cargo administration experience, strong communication, and customer service skills. The role offers 11-hour shifts with a 4 on / 4 off pattern, and full training in health & safety will be provided. Career progression within a multinational organization is also available.

Qualifications

Office Coordinator (Cargo Agent)
Location: Heathrow Airport - Cargo Terminals
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Office Coordinator (Cargo Agent) to join a leading air freight ground handling operation at Heathrow Airport. This role is ideal for candidates looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, secure, and rewarding aviation environment.

Full Dangerous Goods, Manual Handling, and Health & Safety training will be provided.

Shift Pattern

4 on / 4 off - 2 days / 2 nights
11-hour shifts (1-hour unpaid break)
Initial training: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Organising bookings, deliveries, and collections accurately
  • Managing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines

  • Providing hands‑on operational support when needed
  • Using systems such as Outlook, Excel, and Google Calendar for task management
  • Prioritising workload during busy periods
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and sharing regular updates
  • Delivering excellent customer service with a professional, friendly approach
Requirements
