Surf Tech IT has been operating for almost 10 years, providing Managed IT Services, Datacentres, Hosting, and VOIP systems out of our offices in Stourport on Severn. Winners of the Customer Service Company Of The Year award and growing significantly, we are now looking for our next team member to join our fantastic business.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office & Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day office management, HR administration, insurance compliance, and sales support. This role is critical to ensuring smooth business operations and supporting the leadership team in achieving company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Management
    • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities
    • Coordinate with vendors and service providers
    • Ensure a safe and efficient working environment
    • Act as Fire Warden, First Aid Officer, and Health & Safety coordinator for the office
  • HR Administration
    • Maintain employee records and HR systems
    • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training
    • Manage payroll coordination and employee benefits
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Insurance & Compliance
    • Oversee company insurance policies (business, liability, etc.)
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and renewals
  • Sales Administration
    • Support the sales team with proposals, contracts and CRM updates
    • Prepare reports and track KPIs
    • Assist with client communication and scheduling
  • General Administration
    • Handle correspondence, scheduling and travel arrangements
    • Prepare presentations and reports for management
