A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham is seeking a Band 5 ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse to join their friendly theatre team. This role requires a motivated individual committed to high standards of perioperative care and effective teamwork. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Ear, Nose and Throat theatres to recruit a Band 5 ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse to join our friendly theatre team. You will be a highly motivated, innovative and progressive individual committed to the development of yourself, the team, and improving our newly developing service.
You will be joining a pro-active, dynamic team of nurses and ODPs who offer the best standards of perioperative care. We pride ourselves on teamwork, learning and being forward thinking.
You must possess an anaesthetic qualification and be registered with HCPC or have undertaken a University accredited anaesthetic course if you are a registered nurse. You should also have scrub experience or a willingness to learn the scrub practitioner role.
As the service uses Radiation and lasers, you may be required to undertake additional duties to ensure all Health and Safety Policies are adhered to.
Please note, due to ongoing service developments the post holder may be required to cross site at our other Theatre Complex with the agreement of the Specialty Team Leader.
Expectations are to deliver a high standard of care with patient safety and quality as a priority. You should be able to demonstrate effective teamwork, work to high standards, be able to communicate effectively and work with the multidisciplinary team.
ENT theatre experience is preferable but not essential.
All persons appointed to the post are required to hold registration with their appropriate professional regulatory body and to comply with their professional code of conduct. Evidence of ongoing registration will be required. You are required to have a recognised anaesthetic qualification.
