Overview

Job Description: This role will be within our Managed Services team at Version 1. It is a hybrid role requiring the capability to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and JDEdwards CNC. Although the primary role will be within the managed service there will be opportunities to work on projects for both JDE and Oracle Cloud. The candidate will be expected to manage tickets within the managed service for various issues with key skills being the ability to resolve networking issues within Oracle Cloud and manage JDE environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments, including IPSec VPNs, debugging network routing and network security group issues within OCI, and user management and IAM policies within OCI.
• Maintain and support JDE CNC environments with experience in applying patches and ESUs, package build and deployment, regular system checks, performance monitoring and maintenance activities, and JDE upgrades and release updates.
• Linux administration tasks such as creating user accounts and mounting block volumes; basic Linux command line skills with training provided.
• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC): experience provisioning connectivity agents is a nice-to-have.

Qualifications

• Required: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2023 Architect Associate (1Z0-1072-23).
• Desirable: Oracle Certified CNC administrator; Hashicorp Terraform Associate; Oracle Linux Certification; ITIL.
